  Essential functions:

  Providing technical expertise to support and implement solutions (Networks, servers and other industrial/Information technologies), technical support provided in the following areas:

  • Service Level Agreement Customers (within and after business hours).
  • Project Surveys, rollouts/deployment and commissioning.
  • Inhouse support.
  • Managing assigned tickets, timeous resolution of tickets.
  • Escalation of incidents and requests. Identify risks.
  • Updating and creating of information in SOC systems and knowledge base tools.
  • Managing and developing good customer relationships.
  • Identify, inform and escalate process improvement.
  • General administrative tasks.
  Skills and Experience:

  Qualification Essential Competency:

  • National certificate.
  • A+ N+ Certificates.
  • Network certificate.
  • Server certificate.

  Experience required:

  • 5 years Network experience.
  • 1 year Server experience
  • Skill and knowledge of Microsoft office products
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • 5 years combined technical experience
  • Security/Firewall certificate with 3 years experience
  • SQL certificate with 1 year experience
  • Knowledge and use of network applications and tools such as IMC, Airwaves, Clear pass, Winbox, terraterm/putty, forticlient, etc
  • Certification levels for Aruba, Rukus, HP and Rajant will be an advantage
  Other:

  Work environment:

  • Office environment.
  • Assisting the 24x7 service operations centre.

  Physical demands:

  • Client call outs

  Travel:
