POSITION INFO:

As Commander, you’ll:
Navigate the Tech Galaxy: Oversee hardware, software, and network infrastructure to ensure peak performance and ironclad security
Defuse Cosmic Crises: Be the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, leading troubleshooting and coordinating with vendors to minimize disruptions
Maintain the Starbase: Implement routine maintenance schedules, system backups, and patches to keep operations smoother than a hyperspace jump
Guard the Cargo Hold: Manage IT inventory, track assets, and ensure cost-effective procurement of equipment and consumables
Command Vendor Alliances: Negotiate contracts, manage SLAs, and evaluate third-party suppliers to secure top-tier service
Lead Your Starfleet: Supervise and motivate your IT crew, fostering collaboration and driving professional growth
Chart the Future: Contribute to IT strategies, report on system performance, and assist in budgeting for tech missions

Skills & Experience:
To lead this expedition, you’ll need:
Tech Mastery: 5+ years in IT management, with 2+ years in a leadership role. Deep expertise in managing hardware, software, and network infrastructure
Crisis Navigation: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve hardware, software, and network issues at warp speed
Vendor Diplomacy: Proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement processes
Mission Control Skills: Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and project management abilities to keep your team and tasks on track
Tech Credentials: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ (or equivalent) to validate your IT prowess

Qualification:
Grade 12 Certificate (your ticket to the stars)
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience that proves you’re a tech titan)
