JOB SUMMARY:
An exciting vacancy has become available for a Technical Team Lead to be responsible for leading a team of Developers in delivering quality, fit-for-purpose solutions for one of the award winning Software company in South Africa

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose of the role:

Appointed in Organizational Structure as line manager of Developers

People Management

Responsible for Developer KPI’s

Mentorship growth and skills development of Developers

Ensure 75% billable utilization of Developers time

Uphold a culture of pride and ownership of work with Developers

Uphold a culture of comradery and teamwork

Experience Required:

Software solutions development or support

Leading and planning technical software implementation processes

Working with customers to capture and define requirements

Leading implementation activities

Knowledge of APIs and experience of software integration

Agile working practice, structured project management, and communication

Minumim 4 years' experience

Qualification:

Relevant Degree / Diploma

Hard Skills:

Coach Developers in diagnosing application issues and deciding on what can be done with low code instead of traditional coding (80/20 rule)

Capable of debugging C#, JavaScript, and Typescript code.

SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and general Web 2.0 techniques experience

Being able to contribute positively to the best practices within the development space, enforce them in projects, and being able to push accountability for these best practices to your team to take ownership.

Windows server administration and management

SQL Server setup, administration, and management
