JOB SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Technical Document Writer, where you will manage and control technical and administrative documentation and perform clerical and administration duties for the company.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Education:

Grade 12 certificate
Degree/Diploma in IT or a related field
Certificate in Technical writing/English/Communication or related field

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years industry related experience in Technical Document Writing
Writing procedural materials and managing administration activities
Knowledge of MS Windows/Servers and MS Office products
Knowledge of programming concepts and techniques
Experience using necessary tools to create, manage and maintain documentation
Experience in Software development and Computer Science fields

KPA’s:

Manage responsibility for end-to-end documentation process
Gather, prepare, develop, organise, write, edit and review understandable technical and administration documentation
Translate complex information into simple, user-friendly content
Rework all company and project documentation when necessary
Develop and maintain detailed lists/records/repositories for all project documents.
Provide monthly ad-hoc reports
Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches to improve current and new documentation.
