SUMMARY:
Technician required to repair large hospital equipment. Experience repairing & installing of large appliances,electrical & mechanical experience essential.
POSITION INFO:
Job functions:
Technician must pass the in-house training and remain updated with latest developments and changes with regards to the electrical equipment. FULL TRAINING OF EQUIPMENT PROVIDED
Technician must be able to identify and repair all faults and ensure that all documentation is complete for commissioning and decommissioning of equipment
Ensure that all equipment installed remain operational, in terms of regular maintenance and repairs.
Prepare quote cards for all jobs and spares required.
Timeously attend to all, call outs, as per Supervisor allocation daily.
Ensure that all outstanding job cards / purchase orders are invoiced and followed up re: payment on a monthly basis. Including credits and credit notes.
Complete the necessary documentation for equipment returns and complete the fault-finding document.
Maintain an accurate database
Responsible for maintaining professional relationships with client management with all Technical Team Managers and Assistant Managers or Technical Clerks.
Call-outs, Quote Cards / Manual Job Cards
Warranty Claims, Commissioning and Decommissioning of electrical equipment
Spares Ordering and Stock Control
REQUIREMENTS:
Matric / Grade 12 Senior Certificate
Proven experience of repairing large electrical equipment such as fridges, geysers, washing machines etc.
Must be Computer Literate (Intermediate Excel Skills).
Must be able to manage conflict and work independently.
Must be confident in dealing with external and internal stakeholders.
Other: must have own car. Car allowance and fuel card (for company use only) provided
