Technician - Salary commensurate with experience - NSubs, Cape Town - Start ASAP

Our client is a market leader in providing HVAC solutions to private, commercial, and industrial locations and is looking for an experienced Technician to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities not limited to -
*Installation and Maintenance of residential and commercial HVAC Systems.
*Ownership, by taking full responsibility for all installations and maintenance of required job.
*Management of assigned Technical Assistant.
*Ensure the proper preparation and stock management is implemented before leaving the office to head out to a customer site.
*Provide exceptional customer service and take due care to avoid damage to customer property.
*Follow all reasonable instructions and requests issued by Franchisee / Operations Manager when working at customer premises.
*Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment as per job cards.
*Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
*Work overtime when required to do so by management.
*Utilise all tools and equipment correctly and only use the same for the purpose for which it was intended.
*Provide technical direction and on-the-job training.
*Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions as required by management.
*Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, product standards, and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
*Wear the relevant personal protective equipment or clothing items as may be required by management with regards to health and safety
*Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customers\'' requirements.
*Assist with customer queries.
*Maintain all tools and equipment in good working order.
*Conduct thorough site clean-up on completion of work at customer site.
*Ensure Company\''s dress code is adhered to at all times when representing the Company.
*Arrive at work / the office on time every working day.

Requirements:

*Grade 12 minimum education requirement
*Must live in or around the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town
*work overtime when required
*Working hours start at 7:30am
*Possess a valid driving license for at least a motor car
*Ideally have a relevant trade test.
*Valid gas licence.
*3+ years experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in the HVAC field
*Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
*Knowledge of service/product and installation methods
*Capacity to use discretion when examining installation instructions
