Technology Specialist

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a senior level Technology Specialist who can provide technical leadership in the broad area of RF and systems.

POSITION INFO:

You will demonstrate that you are technically competent to give guidance and serve as a mentor to development engineers. This is a senior-level appointment.

 Qualification and Experience

• Masters in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• 10 years plus experience within the specific engineering discipline

Essential Technical Skills and Experience Required

• RF circuit design for receivers and exciters
• Antenna design and construction
• All analogue circuitry, including video amplifiers and power supplies
• Frequency synthesizer architecture and design
• Trouble shooting at system level during system qualification
• Algorithm, procedures
• FPGA and Digital electronic
• Software and software implementations
• Modelling and simulation of systems and subsystems
• Antenna near + far-field measurements

Key Result Areas:

• Document key concepts developed at the company
• Produce patent descriptions for patenting company intellectual property
• Give lectures or lead individual study as required
• Maintain contact with the radar community, institutes and organisations
• Take part in conferences
• Attend management meetings
• Partake in strategy planning sessions
• Attend Project technical review meetings

 Help to devise radar solutions for new requirements in terms of:

• Radar architecture
• Antenna solutions
• Microwave and RF solutions
• Processing concepts
• Algorithm
• System architecture, synthesis & analysis
• Software algorithms and process
• Manufacturing concept
