SUMMARY:
Telesales Representative – IT/Cyber Security, Pretoria East

POSITION INFO:
Our client based in Pretoria East is looking for a results-driven and tech-savvy Telesales Representative to join their dynamic sales team.

You will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and booking appointments for the cybersecurity solutions. Your goal will be to increase their customer base by effectively communicating the value of their IT and cybersecurity services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound calls to potential clients to introduce and promote cybersecurity solutions and services.
• Identify and qualify sales opportunities and schedule meetings for senior sales staff.
• Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns and digital channels.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, and client interactions in the CRM system.
• Develop a deep understanding of our cybersecurity products and services to confidently address customer queries.
• Achieve or exceed monthly call, lead generation, and conversion targets.
• Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to align messaging and identify key market segments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, threats, and competitive landscape.

• 1–3 years of telesales or inside sales experience, ideally in the IT, software, or cybersecurity sector.
• Strong interest or basic understanding of IT and cybersecurity concepts (e.g., firewalls, endpoint protection, threat detection, etc.).
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Familiarity with CRM is a plus.
• Matric certificate required; tertiary qualification in IT, Business, or Marketing is advantageous.

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in cold calling and objection handling.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.
• Ability to explain complex technology in simple terms.
• Fluent in Afrikaans & English

• R10-R12K Basic + Commission
