POSITION INFO:
Purpose of the Role The Temp Data Capturer will be responsible for accurately capturing, updating, and maintaining company data within internal systems and databases. The role supports operational efficiency by ensuring data integrity, completeness, and confidentiality, particularly within environmental and sustainability-related projects. Key Responsibilities Accurately capture and update data into company systems and spreadsheets Verify and cross-check information for accuracy and completeness Maintain proper filing (electronic and manual where applicable) Compile basic reports as required Assist with data clean-up and database maintenance Ensure compliance with company data protection and confidentiality policies Liaise with internal departments to obtain missing or unclear information Support ad-hoc administrative tasks as required Minimum Requirements Education Grade 12 (Matric) – essential Relevant administrative or data capturing certificate – advantageous Experience 1–2 years’ experience in a data capturing or administrative role Experience working with Excel or database systems Exposure to environmental, sustainability, or project-based environments (advantageous) Technical Skills Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) High typing speed with strong accuracy Basic understanding of data management principles Ability to work on internal systems or ERP platforms (if applicable)
