Temp - Financial Accountant

SUMMARY:
Financial Vacancy Available!! Our well known client in the Automotive industry is looking to employ a Temporary Financial Accountant to join their team in East London.

POSITION INFO:

Job Responsibilities: 
Assist in Accounts Payable (AP) investigations and submit Manual Payment Requests
- Assists with the monthly inter-company reconciliations
- Reconcile inter-company balances and process Accounts payable
- Prepare AP vouchers in clearing of vendor accounts
- Detailed AP reconciliations comparing the company system with Suppliers statement are regularly required
- SOX and internal controls compliance
- Perform general finance administration functions
 
Job Requirements: 
Minimum Matric, with preferably Diploma or Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 1- 2 years relevant financial experience, with exposure to accounting practices.
- Knowledge of VIP Payroll or any other Payroll system
- Experience in SAP or similar ERP system
 
Core Knowledge / Skills: 
Advanced PC literacy
- Knowledge of Accounting Systems
- Knowledge of VIP Payroll or any other Payroll system
- Ability to perform duties independently with speed and accuracy
- Critical and analytical thinking
- High ethical standards and behaviors in keeping with Leadership Expectations Model
