Temp Financial Accountant

Job & Company Description:
A well-established non-profit organization, focused on uplifting informal communities, seeks an experienced Financial Accountant to join their finance team in one of their subsidiaries, based in Johannesburg North.

*Please note this a contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent.

In this role, your main responsibility will be to prepare and report on financial data for use throuhout the division, in order for the management team to make informed business decisions across all entities within the group.

Duties include, but not limited to preparation of financial data, assisting with budgets and forecasts, financial administration, payroll and assisting with external audits.

Education:
BCom in Accounting or equivalent

Skills & Experience:
5+ years' experience in a Financial Accountant role is a non-negotiable
Experience with Pastel and VIP is a non-negotiable
Advanced MS Excel skills
Sound knowledge and understanding og related financial legislation and processes
Financial acumen
Strong personality
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
Team player
Own reliable transport is a non-negotiable as this role will include travel to various sites
