SUMMARY:
We are recruiting for a qualified Legal Practitioner to provide interim support within a Legal, Risk and Compliance function operating in a regulated public-sector environment. The role is aimed at strengthening legal capacity and ensuring timely delivery of legal and compliance services.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Drafting, vetting, and reviewing contracts, SLAs, and MOUs
Conducting legal research and preparing opinions
Supporting litigation processes and coordinating with external attorneys
Assisting with policy development and legal compliance documentation
Providing general legal advisory support across the organisation
Supporting labour-related matters and internal legal processes
Maintaining legal and risk registers, and contributing to compliance tracking
Preparing reports and submissions for executive stakeholders

Requirements:
Completed LLB Degree
Admission as Attorney/Advocate
3–5 years post admission experience in public sector
Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts, SLAs and MOUs, drafting legal opinions & policies.
