SUMMARY:
Our client in the FMCG sector seeks to employ a Senior Finance Controller to join their team on a temporary, 6-month contract basis.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum qualification and experience:

Ã¢Â–Âª Matric
Ã¢Â–Âª Tertiary qualification in accounting or finance an advantage
Ã¢Â–Âª Min. 3 Years’ experience in a similar role
Ã¢Â–Âª Experience in dealing with foreign and local creditors
Ã¢Â–Âª Experience in capturing invoices in the general ledger on an accounting system
Ã¢Â–Âª Intermediate to advanced Excel Skills
Ã¢Â–Âª Experience on systems such as Pastel and Syspro
Ã¢Â–Âª Experience dealing with and resolving technical claims with suppliers

Soft Skills:
Ã¢Â–Âª High attention to detail
Ã¢Â–Âª Team player
Ã¢Â–Âª Ability to take instruction
Ã¢Â–Âª Ability to handle pressure in processing large volumes of invoices
Ã¢Â–Âª Proficient in meeting deadlines
Ã¢Â–Âª Must be organized and methodical

Main Duties/Key Results Areas:

Ã¢Â–Âª Take ownership of the allocated creditors accounts
Ã¢Â–Âª Processing of invoices from suppliers onto Pastel and Syspro Ã¢Â–Âª Ensure that invoices are correctly linked to GRN’s where applicable
Ã¢Â–Âª Checking all supporting documentation
Ã¢Â–Âª Prepare the relevant reconciliations
Ã¢Â–Âª Resolve claims and queries on the accounts
Ã¢Â–Âª Weekly age analysis reporting
Ã¢Â–Âª Generate sales orders and sales master lists
Ã¢Â–Âª All and any other related duties as expected from the employer from time to time.
