POSITION INFO:
A leading engineering solutions provider is seeking a results-driven Automation Sales Engineer to expand its footprint across Gauteng. This opportunity is suited to a technically strong sales professional who thrives on developing new business, managing strategic customer relationships, and delivering innovative automation solutions across multiple industries. If you enjoy identifying opportunities, solving complex customer challenges, and working with cutting-edge industrial technologies, this role offers an excellent platform to grow your career. Education: National Diploma, BTech or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related technical qualification. Job Experience & Skills Required: Proven track record in industrial automation sales. Experience selling automation solutions including PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, variable speed drives, servo systems, robotics, industrial networking, sensors, instrumentation, process control, or control systems. Strong business development skills with the ability to identify and secure new opportunities. Experience managing key accounts and providing technical sales support. Ability to conduct site visits, technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution-based selling. Experience preparing quotations, technical proposals, and commercial submissions. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Willingness to travel throughout Gauteng. Apply now!
