SUMMARY:
our client, leaders in the Automotive space seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to join their dynamic and innovative team.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze test requirements.
Design and develop automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify and report software defects.
Continuously improve and maintain existing test automation frameworks and infrastructure.
Work closely with developers to ensure testability and quality of the software under test.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation best practices.
Identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to the overall automation strategy.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to test automation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer or a similar role.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber.
Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with databases.
Knowledge of software development methodologies, testing techniques, and quality assurance processes.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools.
Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms such as AWS Device Farm or BrowserStack.
Experience with performance and security testing.
ISTQB or other software testing certifications.
