JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a talented Test Engineer who, along with a globally focussed agile software development team, will be responsible for developing the Connected Store Platform. You will help extend some of the core systems and spearhead new quality initiatives.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Lead quality activities during team refinement, user experience sessions, retrospectives, and roadmap discussions
Create and propose a high-level quality strategy against roadmap items
Drive the creation of all testing strategies to cover functional, regression, automated, performance, scalability, security and exploratory testing considerations
Provide hands-on assistance with exploratory and automated test efforts
Reproduce defects and support the team in tracing issues
Pro-actively monitor team quality trends and introduce safeguards ahead of time
Lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks
Engage in technical discussions with developers to foresee obstacles concerning quality

Requirements:

Relevant IT degree or qualification (strong work experience can substitute)
ISTQB Certification
Minimum 2 years of manual and automated quality assurance experience on web applications
Able to think about problems from a business perspective using technical and product input
Experience working in an agile team managed by Scrum.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
Capacity and inclination to learn and passionate about building scalable system

Technical/Functional Skills:

Exposure to test automation (e.g. Selenium, Katalon, Cucumber)
HTML5, CSS3
Jira
REST APIs

Advantageous:

Understanding of JavaScript & SQL
Cloud platform experience such as MS Azure
Experience with integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines
