SUMMARY:
Located in Sandton (Fully onsite)

My client based in Sandton is urgently looking for an experienced Tester (mainly Manual and familiar with automation testing) must have mentorship experience.

POSITION INFO:

Analyse and assess bespoke web applications to prepare and execute comprehensive test strategies
Perform both manual and automated testingacross multiple browsers, devices, and platforms
Configure and manage QA and pre-production environments, ensuring appropriate test data, settings, and modules are in place
Develop and maintain automated test scriptswithin a DevOps framework
Work collaboratively with junior testers, providing mentorship and ensuring best practices are followed
Conduct functional, regression, usability, performance, and security testingacross the system
Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, operations, call centres, and external service providersto resolve issues and improve application stability
Liaise with third-party vendorsto support API, integration, and end-to-end testing

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong understanding of browsers, web technologies, and debugging tools
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks(e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
Experience configuring QA/pre-production environmentsand managing test data
Working knowledge of API testing(e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and database validation (SQL)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools(e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps)
Experience with performance and security testing tools
Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams,

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in web application testing within Agile/DevOps frameworks
Experience working with junior testers, fostering a collaborative QA team culture
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to drive quality assurance best practices and streamline test processes
