Are you a senior professional Theatre Nurse with proven strong leadership skills, looking for an opportunity to advance your nursing career to management level?

POSITION INFO:
A private hospital in Kwazulu Natal (inland), has a vacancy for a Theatre Unit Manager that will ensure efficient management of staff and the unit, to ensure quality patient experience.
Key responsibilities:
·         Ensure a safe and therapeutic patient environment by adhering to the Health & Safety standards in the unit
·         Staff management
·         Build & maintain good relationships with the surgeons and representatives
·         Identify and manage all risks within the Theatre
·         Ensure cost effective management of stock and equipment
Requirements:

Nursing Diploma or Degree & SANC registered
Post basic Operating Theatre qualification (required)
Post basic Nursing Management qualification added advantage
Minimum of 5 yrs experience as Theatre Scrub Nurse in multi-disciplinary hospital
Minimum of 3 yrs proven leadership role as Team Leader or Manager within Theatre
Private hospital experience required
Ability to display sound judgement in problem solving
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership skills
Computer proficiency: MS Office
