SUMMARY:
Job Overview
Are you a qualified Tool & Die Maker? You will be responsible for the manufacturing and improving tools, including moulds, jigs, and fixtures, to optimize the efficiency of our production processes. This is a hands-on, high-skill role that also involves mentoring and supporting apprentices.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain moulds to required quality standards to ensure production efficiency
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure the availability of tools to reduce production downtime
• Coordinate tooling operations, including quality control, parts, and housekeeping
• Repair, maintain, and improve all tooling in line with production and customer needs
• Monitor tool performance to ensure optimal run rates and identify areas for enhancement
• Manufacture new moulds as required
• Supervise and train apprentices
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a high-impact work culture
• Digital Transformation
• Drive and implement regular improvements to tooling and production processes

• Qualified Artisan with a Trade Certificate (Red Seal) – Tool & Die Maker
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in an Injection Moulding environment
• Achievement orientation and drive for continuous improvement
• The ability to deal with complexity and make sound, practical decisions
• High levels of self-awareness and a collaborative mindset
