SUMMARY:
Our client in the Manufacturing industry, based in Pinetown (KZN), is currently looking to employ an experienced Tool, Jig and Die Maker.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Qualified Tool, Jig & Die Maker.
• 5 + years' experience in toolmaking.
• Experience in plastic injection moulding and / or press tooling/stamping.
• Strong knowledge of tool design and manufacturing.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software.
• Familiarity with CNC machines.
• Conventional Lathe Turning experience.

• Design and manufacture tools, jigs, and dies.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Select materials and determine manufacturing methods.
• Modify and repair existing tools, jigs, and dies.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues.
• Construct and repair dies for plastic injection molding and pressings.
• Ensure die accuracy and precision.
• Design and manufacture jigs and fixtures.
• Ensure jig and fixture accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams.
• Maintain toolroom safety and organization.
• Update tooling records.
