POSITION INFO:
Position Summary: A Tourism Sales Consultant is responsible for promoting and selling travel packages, services, and experiences to clients. This role involves understanding client needs, providing expert advice on destinations and travel options, and delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the overall travel experience.



Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and expectations, providing tailored travel solutions.
• Sales Generation: Actively promote and sell travel packages, tours, accommodations, and additional services to achieve sales targets.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about current travel trends, destinations, and available services to offer informed recommendations to clients.
• Booking Management: Handle all aspects of booking travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and transportation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Customer Service: Provide ongoing support to clients before, during, and after their travels, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns and materials to attract potential clients.
• Networking: Build and maintain relationships with travel suppliers, tourism boards, and other industry stakeholders to enhance service offerings.
• Reporting: Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and provide insights on market trends to improve sales strategies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or the travel industry is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using booking systems and CRM software.
• Knowledge of various travel destinations and cultures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
