Our client, a leader in vehicle tracking and mobility technology, is seeking a Tracking Technician to join their team as a full-time team member based in Pietermaritzburg. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who is technically inclined and passionate about working with hardware and software in the field.
POSITION INFO:
Requirements:
Technical diploma or certification in Electronics, IT, Auto Electrical, or a related field is an advantage.
1–2 years of experience in installing or servicing tracking devices, vehicle electronics, or similar equipment.
Knowledge of GPS tracking systems, telematics hardware, and vehicle wiring.
Ability to install, test, and troubleshoot tracking devices in various vehicle types.
Understanding of mobile apps and web-based tracking platforms.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools, multimeters, and basic vehicle servicing tools.
Ability to follow wiring diagrams and installation schematics accurately.
