Trade & Working Capital Application Support Specialist to provide
2nd line support across multiple trade platforms supporting Trade and Working Capital (TWC) products.
The role combines
handsâon application support, stakeholder engagement, incident management, and change implementation, ensuring critical trade systems remain stable, compliant, and fully operational. You will work closely with business, operations, technology, and vendor partners in an environment where service quality and client impact are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 2nd line application support for Trade & Working Capital platforms, including system enhancements and defect fixes
- Monitor applications for performance, availability, and service degradation, escalating where required
- Manage and resolve incidents, defects, and service requests within agreed SLAs
- Lead root cause analysis for complex production issues across multiple systems
- Coordinate vendor upgrades, new feature releases, and system enhancements
- Support change, release, UAT, and postâimplementation activities
- Maintain accurate operational documentation, incident records, and management information
- Engage with business, operations, and technology teams to manage competing priorities and minimise client impact
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:Qualification:- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- ITârelated certifications are advantageous
Experience:- Minimum 4 years’ experience in application support, technology support, or service delivery
- Banking or financial services experience strongly preferred
- Exposure to Trade & Working Capital systems such as TIplus and eTradePort advantageous
Skills:- Strong understanding of Trade Operations and Trade products
- Knowledge of SDLC, change, incident, and problem management methodologies
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and take ownership
- High attention to detail, professionalism, and customerâfocused approach
