Excellent opportunity for someone who wants to enter the Agri Trading industry. We are looking for someone who currently works within the International Logistics or Shipping industry in the Logistics Department who has strong Financial Administration skills as well as reconciliations experience relating to stock and/or trades
Candidates must also have advance Excel skills.
Interested candidates must be based in Durban.
Role Summary
The key responsibility of this role will be to ensure all aspects of the trade are administered according to company policies.
This includes ensuring all trades, both physical and derivatives (futures and currency) are captured, correct, and sent out timeously.
The function is a combination of contract management; position reporting; administration of trades; calculation of M2M reports, monitor risk positions and communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
Duties
- Contract management
- Calculation of Mark to Market reports
- Risk management in Agri trading
- Pricing for Open Volume contracts
- Experience in calculation of weighted average pricing of long vs allocated stock
- Trade admin in commodity trading
- Pricing in agri trading on open volume contracts
- SAFEX capturing and reporting
- Trade confirmations and reconciliations in agri trading
- Experience in CME reporting preferable

- A degree
- Based in Durban
- Financial admin experience including daily and monthly reconciliations
- MUST come from Logistics or Shipping industry
