JOB SUMMARY:
An Electronic/ Mechatronic Assistant/ Tradehand is URGENTLY required to start asap with our very busy client in PINETOWN. This company is a leading Electronic Screen Printing Equipment manufacturer and really believes in looking after their staff!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

General workshop maintenance, including milling machine, lathe, drill press & CNC router.
Stripping, repair & assembly of automatic screen printing sub assemblies.
Will travel to our clients' premises to carry out repair work.
Will collect & deliver parts.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Matric - plus any other technical qualifications gained at a Technical High School or Technical College is essential.
Proven ELECTRONICS experience/ training/ aptitude is essential. This is a dealbreaker!
Valid Drivers licence (Code 08) plus own reliable transport to work. Company vehicle will be used for business purposes.
Must be a fast, willing learner and not afraid of hard work; able to work longer hours as required to complete projects / breakdown work
Must be honest, courteous, reliable and flexible.References essential. Do not apply if you cannot produce these.
Must be electro - mechanically minded and must display a keen interest in this field.
Some proven related work experience, especially in the Electronic field is essential, but additional related training will be provided to the successful candidate to specific needs & requirements, as we have a great deal of knowledge and experience to pass on.

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with flexible 30 min lunch period.
Some occasional Saturday overtime.

Remuneration:

Negotiable, according to experience & qualifications
Overtime rates as per Basic Conditions of Employment Act
