A respected client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Facilitator to join their team and lead impactful training programmes both locally and across African countries. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident professional who thrives in high-energy environments and is passionate about delivering world-class training in remote and operationally intensive locations.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the delivery of quality training interventions and assessments. They will oversee the smooth running of training sessions at the Africa Operations Training Centre (AOTC) as well as on-site training at remote operations. With a focus on compliance, safety, and continuous improvement, the ideal candidate will drive knowledge-sharing that aligns with SHERQ requirements and supports operational excellence.
Key Requirements:
- A recognised Facilitator qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in a similar role within a mining or explosives environment
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and LMS systems (CRS Dynamic 360)
- Assessor and Moderator experience essential
- Experience with Vienna Test System (VTS) Traffic facilitation advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality training and assessments aligned with operational and safety standards
- Facilitate both computer-based and practical training interventions
- Lead training sessions at AOTC and at remote sites across Africa
- Schedule and manage training logistics and documentation
- Maintain accurate training registers and ensure feedback is captured
