SUMMARY:
A Training Support Project Manager (6 Months FTC) vacancy is available at our Client, Wits Health Consortium in Parktown, Johannesburg - Gauteng.

POSITION INFO:

Background

Wits Health Consortium (Pty) Limited ("WHC") is a wholly-owned Company of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg (South Africa) under its Faculty of Health Sciences. WHC provides Faculty with a legal framework within which to operate the research and other activities necessary to support its academic objectives. In addition, WHC offers a range of products and services to the Academics conducting these activities in order to assist with the management thereof.

Main purpose of the job

  • Responsible for providing technical expertise to assist training academy with the design, uploading, and development of e-learning courses
  • Support project internally and take responsibility for tasks and assignments associated with the development of training

Location

  • Parktown

Key performance areas

  • Convert current classroom-based courses to e-learning
  • Create multimedia products using a variety of software programs, primarily in Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva, Articulate Storyline 360 and Moodle
  • Maintain e-learning content using Articulate Storyline 360, Canva and Moodle
  • Upload and configure e-learning content into Moodle
  • Maintain learner records for reporting purposes
  • Support learners with passwords, queries, and system-related problems
  • Support training projects and provide regular feedback on progress

Required minimum education and training

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook), Articulate Storyline 360 and Moodle
  • 5 years of experience in managing system-related projects

  • Collaboration with internal teams, external teams, and management to ensure requirements are being met and projects are kept on schedule
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent follow-up, time management and organization skills
  • Strong editing, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Proactive technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
