Training Venue Coordinator

SUMMARY:
Are you an organised, hands-on individual who enjoys making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes? Our client in the security industry is looking for a Training Venue Coordinator to oversee and manage all logistical aspects during their local training sessions for international clients.
The venue includes accommodation for students, catering arrangements, and other facilities that need to operate seamlessly during training blocks. This role requires someone with exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to think on their feet.

POSITION INFO:
Role: Training Venue Coordinator
Location: Hermanus, Overstrand, Western Cape
Salary: TBC

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate all logistics for international training groups, including accommodation, catering, and cleaning.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the training venue.
• Oversee caterers and service providers, ensuring standards and delivery expectations are met.
• Handle stock control, purchases, and supplier sourcing for each training block.
• Act as the main point of contact for all operational needs during training events.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming environment for trainees and guests.

• During training blocks: Availability required 24/7
• Outside of training blocks: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.

• Previous experience in guesthouse management, event coordination, or restaurant/hospitality management preferred.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and people management abilities.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing needs.
• Valid driver’s license and own transport advantageous.
