An established and highly respected economics and advisory firm is looking for a driven Transfer Pricing Manager to join its growing Johannesburg team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, solutions-driven professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges, working directly with clients and taking ownership of projects from inception through to delivery.

Candidates currently within Transfer Pricing, Tax or Audit are encouraged to apply. Professionals coming directly out of a Big 4 or auditing environment with the right technical foundation and strong client-facing exposure will also be considered.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage multiple transfer pricing engagements across a diverse client portfolio. - Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation for multinational clients. - Conduct benchmarking studies and economic analyses to support intercompany pricing. - Apply the Arm's Length Principle and recognised transfer pricing methodologies. - Manage client engagements from initial fact-finding through to final delivery. - Research international and cross-border transactions and prepare responses to tax and regulatory authorities. - Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify business development opportunities. - Mentor and develop junior team members while ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high technical standard. Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Economics or a related discipline. Completed articles, ideally within a Big 4 environment, would be advantageous but are not essential. Experience: Transfer Pricing exposure or a strong foundation in tax, audit or advisory. Candidates may be considered directly out of audit where they demonstrate strong technical capability and client-facing experience. Experience managing multiple client engagements and mentoring junior professionals will be advantageous. Skills: Strong understanding of Transfer Pricing principles, including the Arm's Length Principle; benchmarking and economic analysis; international and cross-border transaction research; strong analytical, research, problem-solving and communication skills. Other requirements: Proactive, solutions-driven and commercially minded, with excellent client service skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
