Transfers Conveyancing Secretary (Senior)

SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established firm of attorneys, notaries, and conveyancers based in Tygervalley, Cape Town, is seeking a skilled and reliable Conveyancing Secretary to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring professionalism, maturity, and strong administrative skills to support a dynamic conveyancing department handling both residential and commercial property transactions.
This is a high-volume environment, and the successful candidate must be comfortable managing multiple files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and delivering exceptional client service. You will serve as a key liaison between clients, estate agents, and third parties, providing essential support throughout the transfer process.

POSITION INFO:
Key Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience for Junior candidates and 5+ years for Senior candidates in a conveyancing-related role
• Proven ability to manage a significant file load (approx. 30 files for Junior and 60+ for Senior)
• Proficiency in GhostConvey, LEXIS Convey, Stordoc, and E4 systems (non-negotiable)
• Matric certificate (non-negotiable)
• South African citizenship
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
• A relevant legal qualification will be advantageous
