SUMMARY:
Senior Transmission Design Engineer to join Energy Transmission consultancy team in Johannesburg or Cape Town.

Providing specialist advice and services to clients.
Involved in technical delivery and project management on various projects.

Involved in a wide range of transmission projects in the energy, rail, nuclear, building and utilities sectors.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

BSc or BEng. in Electrical Engineering or similar
Professionally registered with ECSA (preferably)
Background in design and delivery of EHV and HV (765kV - 132kV) substations, primary and secondary plant along with skills in analysis of these networks for AIS and GIS substations
Client/ project management in the capacity of a technical lead on project tasks
Hands-on knowledge of substation design software a=such as CDEGS
Ability to conduct lightning protection studies
