Seeking passionate logistics graduates to join a fast-paced team!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary

Responsible for all commercial Drivers, Runners, and vehicles, as well as efficient route planning and coordination of collections.

Responsibilities

Daily tracking of vehicles, to ensure vehicles follow the best possible route
Identify any unauthorized stops
Identify any deviations from planned route and report these to the relevant Supervisor
View camera footage to identify deviations
Inform the Transport Manager of all “due soon” tasks to be completed
Monitor vehicle progress and take appropriate actions when the planning has been changed

Requirements

Grade 12 and a tertiary qualification in Supply Chain / Logistics
Valid driver’s license
Must be well presented, professional and have excellent communication skills
Training in logistics and fleet management would be advantageous

Employment will be implemented in accordance with the Employment Equity Act.
