Treasury Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client operating in the Financial Services industry is currently looking to appoint a qualified and suitably experienced Chartered Accountant CA(SA) to the current Treasury Manager vacancy within their Johannesburg North based team. If you are a recently qualified CA(SA) with at least 3 years’ working experience within a similar Treasury Manager position, please apply!

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant CA(SA) designation and/or eligibility recently obtained
• Minimum 3 years’ working experience within a similar Treasury Manager position at a senior and/or managerial level
• Previous working experience involving the implementation of system changes
• Advanced Sage and Microsoft Excel software skills are highly advantageous

Job description & Skills:

• Overseeing foreign exchange transactions and hedging across multiple jurisdictions
• Monitoring and managing transactions across multiple online banking systems involving various clients
• Managing and maintaining the accuracy of data records on the respective data management systems while ensuring compliance with various multinational tax offices and/or regulating authorities
• Providing insight on potential improvements to current software systems and ensuring that the relevant software systems’ changes are implemented
• Overseeing cash management activities across various foreign jurisdictions
• Liaising with various clients, business partners, shareholders, and company management
• Responding to and resolving conflict situations that may arise
• Assisting with the successful completion of ad hoc activities and projects identified and/or initiated by management
