SUMMARY:
A fantastic opportunity has become available within a leading Consulting environment for an experienced Treasury Risk Senior Manager to join a high-performing Financial Risk Management team.

POSITION INFO:
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in treasury, market risk, liquidity risk, balance sheet management, and financial risk frameworks, who enjoys leading complex engagements and partnering with clients across the Financial Services industry.

Key Areas of Focus:

Leading the delivery of treasury and financial risk management projects, from strategy through to execution
Advising clients on treasury governance, liquidity risk, funding risk, cash risk, treasury operational risk, and risk frameworks
Supporting complex areas such as ALM, FTP, hedging strategies, capital management, and financial performance management
Driving the review, implementation, and post-implementation monitoring of treasury systems
Managing stakeholder engagement while navigating regulatory requirements and business objectives
Playing a key role in business development, market growth, proposal development, and thought leadership initiatives
Leading and mentoring multi-disciplinary teams while helping to grow the treasury practice

Ideal Background:

7+ years’ experience within treasury risk, market risk, financial risk management, consulting, banking, insurance, asset management, or broader Financial Services
Strong understanding of corporate treasury operations, liquidity management, cash forecasting, funding planning, and balance sheet management
Strong knowledge of the macroeconomic and regulatory landscape impacting financial institutions
Exposure to Financial Services regulatory frameworks
Strong academic background (BCom Honours in Finance/Commerce, CA(SA), CFA, or equivalent)
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, business development, and project delivery skills
