Role Overview A wellâestablished commercial vehicle service provider in Nelspruit requires a Qualified Truck Wheel Alignment Technician to perform precision wheel alignment, suspension diagnostics, and related mechanical adjustments on heavyâduty trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate is technically strong, safetyâdriven, and able to deliver accurate, highâquality work with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Perform wheel alignment on heavyâduty trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles using computerized alignment systems. Diagnose and correct steering, suspension, and axleârelated issues . Inspect tyres for wear patterns, defects, and alignmentârelated damage. Adjust caster, camber, toeâin, thrust angle, and other alignment specifications. Conduct axle corrections , kingpin inspections, and suspension component checks. Operate alignment equipment, lifts, and workshop tools safely and correctly. Provide accurate feedback on vehicle condition and required repairs. Maintain alignment equipment calibration and workshop cleanliness. Minimum Requirements: Qualified Wheel Alignment Technician with proven experience on heavy commercial vehicles . Minimum 3-5 years' experience performing truck wheel alignment. Strong understanding of steering geometry, suspension systems, and axle configurations . Ability to operate computerized alignment systems (e.g., Hunter, John Bean, or equivalent). Valid driver's licence (EC advantageous). Physically fit and able to work with heavy components.
