POSITION INFO:
Area of Specialization:
• Overall responsible for all resources on assigned area of work on the turbine center-line,
• Manage the activities and resources allocated to assigned area into a cohesive, efficient manner,
• Achieve project objectives related to cost, quality and time schedule on assigned area of responsibility,
• Ensure that all customer requirements are met in a safe and cost-effective manner, and
• Ensure assigned team adhere to all applicable legislative requirements as well as all procedure and processes of the site worked on.
Minimum Requirements
• Minimum N3 Electrical/Mechanical with trade certificate,
• National Diploma / N6 / in Engineering or higher will be preferred
• Qualification / training in project management will be an advantage
Experience:
• Successfully supervised teams on at least 4 major projects / outages,
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as artisan on turbo-gens if qualification is N3 with Trade Certificate, and
• Minimum 3 years supervision experience in an engineering environment,
• Knowledge of LV & HV regulations and permit-to-work system will be an advantage,
• Practical exposure on Grievance and Disciplinary Procedure will be an advantage.
