The Role: Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties
We are seeking a versatile UI/UX Engineer to bridge the gap between design and development. You will be responsible for creating intuitive, visually appealing, and highly functional user interfaces for platforms that operate at the forefront of technology.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- User-Centered Design: Conduct user research, create user personas and journey maps, and gather feedback to deeply understand user needs and inform design decisions.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using modern design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch) to visualize and validate design concepts.
- UI Design & Implementation: Design visually stunning and intuitive interface components and translate these designs into clean, functional code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Testing & Iteration: Rigorously test UI elements for usability, responsiveness, and performance. Use analytics and user feedback to iterate and continuously improve the user experience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders throughout the entire product lifecycle to ensure designs are feasible, meet business goals, and are implemented accurately.
The Ideal Skills & Experience
- Essential: A strong portfolio showcasing your design process and finished projects.
- Essential: 2+ years of professional experience in a UI/UX role.
- Essential: Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Essential: Solid foundational knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Highly Advantageous: Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Tailwind CSS.
- Essential: A user-centric mindset with strong empathy and problem-solving skills.
- Essential: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to present ideas and work effectively in a team.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
