SUMMARY:
Senior Developer positions available in Midrand for a leading company that specialise in software and digitally-led business solutions. Providing these services for their clients that are based national and international.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the position is to do daily development Application and Solution of the client in the Tellecommunication industry. The successful candidate will be responsible but not limited to; Application and Solution development.Maintaine and contributing to system standards. Improve the automation of tasks where possible. Managing system security. Capacity and performance management. Research and recommend innovative approaches to improving efficiency and most important provide leadership support.

Minimum requirements:

A tertiary Engineering or Computer Science degree will be an advantage
Experience in a Telco or Financial Services environment
4+ Years Senior Development experience
A high degree of interest and experience in Linux.- Linux system administration (RedHat/Centos, Apache/NGINX, MySQL/MariaDB, Bash, Python), will be an advantage
Golang, Java, C/C++, Angular/React, and/or NativeScript/Ionic development experience
Back-end, Middleware, Front-end, and/or Mobile Application development experience
Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, SOAP, HTTP, XML, RADIUS, Diameter, SCTP)
Shell scripting ability for system administration
Big Data / Analytics / Monitoring experience using Elastic, Tableau, Grafana, Prometheus
Telecommunications technologies (SS7, SIGTRAN, MTP, SCCP, TCAP, MAP, CAP, etc)
Ability to lead a small development team and must be able to work independently
