Our client in the mobile network sector is seeking a UX Design/Developer on a contract duration of 6 months.
Job Purpose
The UX Design/Developer will be responsible for designing and developing intuitive, engaging, and user-centred digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. The role combines strong
User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design capabilities with hands-on front-end development expertise to deliver seamless, accessible, and high-performing digital solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and other technology teams to understand user needs, translate requirements into user journeys and prototypes, and develop user-friendly interfaces.
POSITION INFO:
Required Skills and Experience Essential Experience Minimum of 5+ years' experience in UX\/UI Design and\/or Front-End Development. Proven experience designing and developing digital products, web applications, or enterprise systems. Strong experience in user-centred design methodologies . Experience working in Agile software development environments. Experience with responsive and mobile-first design. Technical Skills Strong proficiency in: HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript \/ TypeScript Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as: React Angular Vue.js Experience with UX\/UI design tools such as: Figma Adobe XD Sketch InVision Experience developing and maintaining design systems and component libraries . Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with back-end services. Experience with Git and version control. Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design. UX Skills User research and analysis. User journey mapping. Persona development. Wireframing and prototyping. Information architecture. Usability testing. Interaction design. Accessibility and usability standards. Advantageous Skills Experience with UX research tools and analytics platforms. Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards . Experience with cloud-based applications and platforms. Knowledge of DevOps and CI\/CD practices. Experience working with enterprise-scale applications. Experience in telecommunications, financial services, or other large enterprise environments. Knowledge of design thinking methodologies. Experience with mobile application development or hybrid frameworks. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in: User Experience Design Interaction Design Graphic Design Computer Science Information Technology Human-Computer Interaction or a related field. Relevant UX\/UI or front-end development certifications will be advantageous.
