The Role:
An exciting opportunity exists as a UX Researcher at our health focused client in Johannesburg.Â
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years'' UX research experience for digital products
- Experience in managing communications
- Experience in facilitating workshops
- Experience in integrating user research into product design
- Experience in designing and conducting usability studies
- Demonstrated impact on products previously worked on
- A solid grasp of user-centered design, user research, user testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns
Key Accountabilities:
- UX Strategy
- Facilitate workshops
- Identify the best research approaches based on timing and resources
- Conduct exploratory interviews with clients
- Conduct or guide UX research internally and externallyÂ
- Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and recommendations that stakeholders and peers can act upon
- Find ways to improve the overall UX maturity of the organisation
Personality and Attributes:
- Deep knowledge of an array of user research methodologies
- Passion for defining and solving problems
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to execute several projects concurrently
