UX/UI Designer

POSITION INFO:
This is an exciting opportunity for a design professional who thrives at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and collaboration. You will play a key role in shaping meaningful digital experiences by translating complex business and user requirements into elegant, functional, and accessible design solutions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, product owners, business analysts, and developers to design and deliver high-quality products across a variety of platforms and industries.

Key Responsibilities

UX Design & Collaboration

• Partner with stakeholders to understand user needs, business objectives, and product requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design user-centred solutions
• Translate insights into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Use research, analytics, and usability feedback to inform and improve design decisions
• Advocate for the user throughout the product lifecycle
• Ensure consistency across platforms, products, and brand touchpoints

Information Architecture

• Design and improve product structure, navigation, and content hierarchy
• Ensure intuitive user journeys aligned with user goals

Interaction Design

• Solve complex design challenges using user-centred design thinking
• Create flows, prototypes, and interaction models that clearly communicate experiences
• Ensure usability, accessibility, and design quality

Visual Design

• Produce high-quality, visually consistent interfaces aligned with brand guidelines
• Contribute to and maintain design systems and reusable components
• Ensure responsive and accessible design across devices

Usability Evaluation

• Conduct usability testing and research to validate design decisions
• Analyse user feedback and product data to identify improvement opportunities
• Iterate designs to enhance usability and experience

Leadership

• Mentor and support junior designers within design communities
• Lead and contribute to design workshops, critiques, and ideation sessions
• Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning
• Advocate for UX best practices across teams and projects
• Contribute to proposals and client presentations
• Support the growth and development of the design community

UX Project Management

• Manage multiple UX projects simultaneously
• Define scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders
• Track progress, manage priorities, and mitigate project risks

Requirements

• Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• 3+ years’ experience in UX/UI or product design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process and problem-solving ability
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
• Experience in user research and usability testing
• Strong leadership and mentoring capability
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Experience working in Agile or Lean UX environments (advantageous)
• Consulting, agency, or client-facing experience beneficial
