SUMMARY:
Opportunity to apply your leadership and clinical specialty skills as Unit Manager in ICU, at a private hospital in Durban.

POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of an adult ICU unit, including mentoring, training and professional development of the staff within these units.
Inherent job requirements to be considered:

Minimum of 5 yrs nursing experience in adult ICU
Minimum of 2 years leadership/management experience essential
Min of 2 years private hospital experience
Financial aptitude and ability to interpret financial data

Education & skills requirements:
Diploma/Degree in General Nursing and Midwifery
Post basic qualification in Critical Care essential
SANC registered
Post basic qualification in Nursing Management (advantage)
Good communication and strong leadership skills
Focused on high quality customer service
Ability to work as part of the team and assist where necessary
Resilience
Willing to work flexi hours if required
Computer proficient in Microsoft Office suite
