Unit Manager - Maternity & Post Natal

SUMMARY:
We are recruiting for an experienced Unit Manager that is business focused, to manage the Maternity & Post-natal units of a private hospital in the Eastern Cape.

POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate will develop a strong nursing team to ensure high quality patient care, build good relationships with key stakeholders and manage all cost and risk factors within the units.

To be considered for this position, the following work experience is required:

• Vast nursing experience within maternity unit
• min of 2 yrs proven leadership and people management experience within these units
• Private hospital experience
• Knowledge and basic understanding of financial and labour legislation principles
• Good communication skills and strong leadership skills

Education & Skills Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in General Nursing and Midwifery (essential)

Post basic Advance Midwifery Qualification (advantage)

SANC registered, 2021

Computer proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Ability to work flexi hour’s if/when required due to operational needs
