JOB SUMMARY:
A Unit Manager vacancy has become a available in the Surgical ICU unit of a hospital situated in the south of Durban.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and high-quality patient care of the unit, including mentoring, training and professional development of the staff within these units.
To be considered for this position, the following work experience is required:

Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in adult ICU units
2 years supervisory or management experience (essential)
Private hospital experience

Education Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Nursing and SANC registered
Post basic Critical care diploma
Good communication skills and strong leadership skills
Computer proficient in Microsoft Office suite
