Job Description

You will be responsible for the following:

• To identify, evaluate and control stressors that could have a negative impact on the environment and/or health of people, which includes but not limited to:
• • Hygiene management
  • Risk management
  • Emergency preparedness and response
  • Statutory compliance
  • People management
  • SHERQ adherence and related compliance

You will need to have:

• A valid code B / EB driver’s licence
• Legal appointment 12(1)
• Medically fit for duty

Accreditation & Registration

• Registration: SAIOH registered Occupational Hygienist (SA Institute for Occupational Hygiene)

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health / Environmental Health
• Chamber of Mines Certificate or Intermediate Cert in Mine Environmental Control

Skills

• Ability to manage a medium size team effectively
• Knowledge of :
• ISO90001 (System, Audit)
• ISO45000 (System, Lead Auditor) (Legal certificate)ISO14000 (System, Audit) (Legal certificate)
