Job Description
Main function of the role is responsibility for performing all procurement and procurement related activities as well as assisting in the forecasting and inventory planning for all materials within the MEA (Middle East Africa) region. You will be responsible for the following:
- Procure materials to meet project requirements.
- Manage long leadtime materials.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure all procurement aspects are delivered.
- Manage master data inputs into Pronto to procure, new products.
- Assist with procurement of equipment warehouse items and builds
- Assist in the monthly regional forecast for finished goods and raw materials.
- Procure items for inventory
- Source raw materials from high quality vendors
- Develop and maintain procedures and work instructions related to procurement and work orders
- Investigate alternative suppliers
- Responsible to follow up on all outstanding orders
- Stock counts
Qualifications
- Matric
- Business, Procurement, or Supply Chain diploma or higher
Skills
- 3+ years'' experience in procurement and planning organisation required
- Strong computer literacy, particularly with ERP’s and Microsoft Office tools
- Previous experience in manufacturing
- Pronto experience
