POSITION INFO:
VODACOM PRE-PAID: OJT AND PERFORMANCE COACH
The purpose of this role is to Coach new hires on the required curriculum as specified by the client during the OJT Training period. In addition to guide, support and to develop New Hires during On-the-Job Training, the role will be responsible for identifying performance gaps of existing hires and developing coaching plans to close these performance gaps. The OJT and Performance Coach manages the activities involved in the preparation, delivery and assessment of coaching and development programs for iSON Clients.
The OJT and Performance Coach is responsible for coaching in a job specific area along with focusing in developing specific areas of knowledge or on the job capabilities needed for certain positions.
- Coach product and system development as per the client requirements
- Identify and assess performance needs within the client campaigns to identify performance gaps and relevant development strategies.
- Provides input to the coaching strategy and the development of specific coaching development plans.
- Helps employees improve upon/enhance existing skills.
- Design solutions incorporating a variety of coaching and development programs.
- Create a supportive and conducive adult learning environment.
- Campaign coaching reporting on a weekly basis.
- Compile a handover assessment and accreditation report from training into operations for each candidate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Encouraging respect for ideas voiced during coaching.
- Steering conversations about the learning material during coaching.
- Extracting varied insights from participants during coaching.
Administering and reviewing progress on OJT assessments and New Hire KPIs
- 3-to-5-year Vodacom Pre-Paid experience (Compulsary)
- Minimum matric or related NQF qualification essential
- Vodacom Post-Paid experience (an advantage)
- Coaching certificate preferred
- Knowledge of Vodacom Systems
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications
- Be a self-starter with a passion for talent development
- Exhibit commitment and a high level of flexibility
- Ability to coach within a high paces sales and telesales call centre environment
