SUMMARY:
Grow VSD, PLC, and microsonic product portfolios by developing and nurturing strong customer relationships. Suited for candidates with a solid technical support background and regional sales development experience.

POSITION INFO:
We are looking for a driven Sales Representative to support our client’s Drives, PLC, and Microsonic division. The successful candidate will expand market presence in the KwaZulu-Natal region by strengthening customer relationships, uncovering new business opportunities, and delivering technical sales support.

This position requires regular travel to customer sites to provide product guidance and ensure optimal application of VSD, PLC, and microsonic solutions. We seek a motivated, target-oriented individual with strong customer engagement skills and the ability to clearly articulate product value.

Education & Skills:

Grade 12 (Matric)
Any relevant sales qualification or technical Certification is advantageous
Additional training in industrial automation, electrical instrumentation, VSDs, PLCs, or related fields, is beneficial

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Grow turnover of VSD, PLC, and microsonic product sales in the assigned region
Identify new opportunities and potential customers within relevant markets
Maintain, support, and expand relationships with existing customers
Serve as a key contact for customers needing technical assistance on VSD, PLC, and microsonic products
Clearly demonstrate and communicate the benefits of our brand versus competitors
Conduct regular sales calls—independently or with team members—to meet sales targets
Develop business through prospecting, marketing activities, and pipeline growth
Follow up promptly on quotations and provide detailed feedback to management when required
Prepare and submit monthly sales reports outlining achievements and targets
Adhere to all safety instructions and work independently with strong attention to detail
Travel locally within the KwaZulu-Natal region as needed
