SUMMARY:
Our client in George is seeking a Junior Vehicle Technician with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. The successful candidate will assist senior technicians in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of vehicles while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

POSITION INFO:
Description:

Perform routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs (oil changes, brakes, filters, tyres, etc.).
Assist senior technicians with diagnostics and more complex repairs.
Ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards and workshop procedures.
Accurately complete job cards and communicate additional work requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workshop.
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

Relevant automotive qualification (NQF Level 4 or equivalent; trade test advantageous).
2–3 years’ practical experience in a vehicle workshop or dealership.
Basic mechanical and electrical repair skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to follow technical manuals and diagnostic procedures.
Valid driver’s license (Code 8 / B)
