An opportunity for an experienced WORKSHOP FOREMAN is required for permanent employment based in Greytown.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a large farming (on site) workshop
- Supervise 6 x Mechanics (Hands on approach)
- Previous experience with the following fleet / equipment (required)
- UD Trucks x 20
- Tractors x 25
- Bell loaders x 16
- Bakkies x 38
- Cranes (Mobile & Overhead)
- Skidders
- Workshop stores / control
- Workshop buying / procurement
- Staff / team management
- Prioritize, planning, workshop schedules etc
- Call outs / breakdowns / weekends & afterhours availability
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Trade Test Diesel/Petrol Mechanic (Technician)
- Min 8-10 years post trade exp. (Mechanical exp a must)
- Previous Forestry / Timber / Sawmilling / Farming / Agriculture exp. (req.)
- Previous Workshop Foreman exp. req.
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Zulu speaking (adv.)
- Drivers licence
- Computer literate
- Stable work history with traceable / contactable references.
